So the TATS yacht is parked outside of my building this morning. Impressive looking. I can’t get a great picture of it without going downstairs, so take the stock photo in its place.

Parked is acceptable parlance when discussing yachts.

No. But whatever floats your boat.

What does TATS mean?

Tell the NY Times, Chicago Tribune, or WSJ that. Sorry that it’s not up to your pedantry, but it’s not incorrect.

It’s the name on the stern.

You mean journalist without a captains license. Got it.
You park your car, you dock your boat. Like I said, whatever floats your boat.

If I have a driver’s license, do I have to tell the police officer, “I used my indicator to signal my intention to turn.” or can I say, “My blinker was on.”
Common parlance is common parlance, and the greatest indicator of that is edited and widely-distributed media.

Big difference between the two, but the fact you are dragging this out and bringing up articles from almost a decade ago is sad.
I’m done. I don’t have time for this anyway, as I really need to go check and make sure my car is docked in the right spot.

So your argument is unsupportable, got it.
Thanks, have a nice day!
